Singularity University Mentoring Global Grand Challenge in Mountain View California

by News

Singularity’s Global Grand Challenge is a program that trains and supports 100 persons from around the world to learn about emerging technologies and apply them to devising a project or service that can positively benefit 1 billion people.
Among teams that have graduated onto commercialization include Blue Oak (landfill mining of rare earths and metals), Matternet (creator of world’s first small payload drones for delivery of medicines in the developing world as well as mail in Switzerland).
This will be my third stint as a mentor and it’s an honor to meet and help these teams of talented persons. Last year, my favorite was a team that came up with avionics for motorcyclists and is in the process of developing and monetarizing their cool, life-saving technology.

Winners will be announced at the end of August
